If you went out and decided to buy this alarm clock for your room at the convent then you might be offended. You still would not if you're one of the cool nuns. Seriously, what this clock says will not turn your little one into a cereal killer HAHA! The clock works great!

My 10 year old son has had this alarm clock for 2 years and it works great. We are very picky about what they see and hear and do not find it offensive at all. We have all had lots of laughs listening to it. It DOES NOT curse, it says "if you don't get out of bed, I'll open up a can of beep beep (makes a beep noise)." My kids don't even know what it's referring to. Great alarm clock.

This alarm clock has 7 wacky character phrases. It does not just shake. One of the phrases bleeps out a cuss word. There is no way to disable the phrases. I had purchased this for my .. year old brother and was completely shocked and offended when I received it and realized what it really did. The Target website gave me the impression it only shook. It is not appropriate for children. I called Timex and they didn't care.
